Swimming in the largest rooftop pool in the Alps
Our award winning latest addition of the hotel, our Kitz Summer Spa, was opened in May 2008. This has been recognised as probably the most innovative hotel project in Austria! Sitting atop the hotel on 500 m², this fabulous facility features:
- Outdoor pool with underwater sound system
- Counter current swimming and massage jets
- Lounge with cosy sofas for relaxing
- Rooftop bar
To get from the sauna to the rooftop pool, just take the new panoramic elevator, that connects the 1.000 m² "Black Spa" with the new rooftop area.
And all the best: whilst relaxing in this therapeutic setting, enjoy the unique 360 degrees panoramic views over the rooftops of Kitzbühel´s old city and the mountains.
Please note: The rooftop pool is a relaxing area exclusively reserved for adults. Children are not allowed access to the rooftop pool.
Construction finished!
On 6th December 2007, 5 months before the official due date for the opening of the rooftop pool, the construction works were finished!

The owners of the hotel, the Family Dr. Christian Harisch, have always treasured turning their innovative ideas into reality.
In 2008, their vision of a rooftop pool came to life and was recognised as one of the most innovative hotel projects in the Alps.
